About Us

Our Mission

We are committed to helping share the Good News of Jesus wherever we are and recognise that God calls us to,

“Go into all the world and preach good news to all creation.”

As members of the same body of Christ, we want to share in the privilege of demonstrating God's love to others and stand with those who sacrificially serve Him in different areas of the world.

We offer ongoing support to a small number of individuals and organisations that are working overseas in a variety of ministries including outreach through literature, medical missions and social projects.

We are currently working in partnership with missionaries in the Philippines, China and Zimbabwe, and have also supported a short-term building project in Tanzania. Several members of our church are also actively involved in local and global projects reaching out to those who are less advantaged and marginalised.

What is the Gospel?

At its heart, the Christian faith is about relationship, not religion. Becoming a Christian is to come into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus, accepting Him as fully God and fully human and believing in His atoning sacrifice through His death and resurrection.

One of the most famous verses in the Bible sums up the Gospel like this,

“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him, will never die but have everlasting life...”

The Bible tells us that God is love, however, He is also a holy and perfect judge. When we measure up against His perfection, we fall short, which leaves us separated from God. He did not, however, abandon us and sent His Son, Jesus, who took the punishment for all our wrongs upon himself when he was crucified.

The Bible explains that once we turn away from our sin (refusal to acknowledge the truth of God) and place our belief in Jesus, we receive the forgiveness for all our wrongs, God lovingly accepts us into His family and we receive eternal life. We are saved from the punishment our wrongs deserve by accepting the gift of God’s goodness, not by anything we could earn ourselves.

Becoming a Christian won't necessarily bring you an easy or prosperous life, but it will lead you into a real, ongoing and life-changing relationship with the Creator of the Universe – nothing could be more important and more exciting than that.

This is a very brief explanation, but if you would like to have more information or discuss further, please contact us.
